Their applied with 3M tape so the best method would be is to apply Adhesive Remover to the tape area to loosen the bond between the door sill and plate. The carbon is pretty strong, but if you just tried pulling them off it would bend the carbon door sill. Hope that helps

ok, I see...I have some low bond tape that would work best...I'll let you know. Once you make up a torch red I would also like to see a closeup pic for color and pattern...I need to match my Hydro items as closely as possible.

You can do either, but you will have to clean the surface before applying to make sure they adhere to the surface.
Some customers don't like pulling the stock ones off and from my experience they leave a sticky mess. So if you are going to leave them on, just clean them really good before applying. Hope that helps.
