HUD Projector
1. Linkage repair; you will often see the HUD 'freeze' in position
2. HUD display window replacement; (thin plastic covering internals)

3. this is the black trim made of plastic that has cracked on 100's of our C5's, You see the trim on the top of the dash (I have NEW GM replacements), $250 replaced(dash removal required)

4. Although rare, I have had some HUD projectors from time to time; Only item still available through GM is the switch from my experience

dim HUD
Don't drive into direct sunlight???? sometimes I go that way. It only stays on dim.
you cannot make it brighter or darker even at nite. I sometime go that way too.

I found mine is only hard to view when wearing polarized sunglasses. If you think about it, polarized glasses are used to reduce glare and reflection. We need reflection for the HUD to work properly.
