SLC custom fixed headlights (Last Kit Ever)
For sale is the last kit of Stealth light cannons HID projector headlights. One of my customers decided to go with the pop up headlights and this is his kit. I'm letting this kit go for a steal of a price.
This kit includes:
- Hella 60mm projector low beams
- Hella 60mm projector high beams
- Reinforced Aluminum mounting Frames
- Stainless Hardware
- Thermoformed ABS Shrouds
- High-impact PETG lenses with hard clear coat finish
- 55w slim HID kit with Ballasts and Bulbs
- 100w halogen High beam bulb,
- Hi-4 circuit (allows highs and lows to be run simultaneously)
- Detailed installation instructions in .pdf format
Performance pictures: These were taken on black asphalt, one of the most difficult surfaces to illuminate. The parking lot is used for marching band practice and the yardage markers give a good idea of distance. Lights are using a 6000K bulb (most popular color)
Low beam pattern ~30 ft:
Low + Highs:
Low beam view (from 20’ off the ground to show distance)
Distance tests:
Here the tripod is about the height of a toddler at about 100’
Here the tripod is set at the height of a deer at about 150’
Asking $1000 shipped to the 48 states.

Did these sell? Do these HID's sometimes fail to ignite? My current set sometimes needs some serious coaxing to get them to turn on.

HID that fail to ignite may be suffering from either a bulb or ballest problem. They also may not be getting enough voltage. Check your battery and alternator to make sure they're both operating within normal specs

Bummer. Are you still selling them?
If I flip them off and on a few times, usually they'll fire up. But it's kind of annoying.

I'm afraid the SLCs are no longer being produced. A combination of the projector availibility and the short lifespan of the fiberglass molds for thermofoming the shrouds made for a rather small production run. I may consider a similar setup at a later date pending interest. I would have to make new molds and find new projectors that are easier to get.

Even if you don't, the bracket and parts along with the shrouds (and let me source the ballasts/projectors etc. would be something I would be interested in.
I like the way your setup is designed more than any of the others I've seen.
