As you mentioned your steel quality is same as oem do you feel these will hold up as good or better in a road coarse situation along with your z36 race pads in the C5 size?
Also are the C6Z rotors lighter and as good if not better then oem?

The default color on drilled only rotors is gold. I'm sorry I don't have professional pics of that one but this should give you an idea...

The rigors of open road/road course racing are brutal. Any stock system will struggle to withstand the extreme heat generated by it, as you are probably aware.

The best option would be a slotted (minimal stress risers), cryo treated rotor and 26-731/26-732 (C5 pads).

The C6Z rotors are premium weight castings. I don't have an exact weight on them but I can get it for you. I know just from moving the boxes they are HEAVY!

PMed you a total with sales tax (IL). For others interested in the black coating, $30 is for the entire order. We run these on an as ordered basis so there is a minimum weight fee. If the black coating becomes popular or we if we can get a minimum of 5 committed buyers I can offer them for no additional charge.

Cryo treatment is $30/rotor (ie $120.00 for a complete set).

Thanks,
Adam

Yes the black zinc dichromate is a rust preventative treatment. Por 15 is nice but keep in mind it has no UV resistance and will fade in time unless top coated. Another thing to keep in mind is the temp threshold on POR, no sure what it is but its worth determining before you decide. Also in my own experience I've found POR-15 doesn't bond well to un-etched surfaces.

The 26 series pads are comparable to the Hawk HP Plus pad and the Z16's are comparable to Hawk ceramics. Powerstop has done independent LINK and Dyno testing on these pads and you can visit this link for more info on how they compare to the competition.

PM me a price on the C5 (I have a 2001 Z06) Black Coated Front/Rear rotor pair shipped to 41537. I'm also wanting a set of pads as well, not sure if I want ceramic or the extreme performance pads. I'm thinking about getting CCW's, so I would want something that has very minimal dust, but still surpurb braking power on the street (I don't road race). Would the ceramics have a huge loss of perfomance compared to the stock '01 Z06 pads?

I can't honestly say as I haven't seen test data on AC Delco pads. I have run the AC delco ceramics on my C5 in the past and I would say in terms of friction characteristics they are similar with the Z16's being a bit more positive in initial bite and about even in terms of repeated hot stop fade.

I'm stoked to see these on here. I've seen this seller on ebay for a while as I'm on the fence (it's a want, not a need). I'll look forward to seeing a couple reviews from forum members after they get 'em mounted and broken in.

Adam,
I am looking to purchase, however, : you sent me a paypal invoice for 239, (F/R cross drilled/slotted rotors and Z16 Pads and free shipping), for what appears to be the same product in your ebay store for 215 shipped (F/R cross drilled/slotted rotors, evolution pads(Z16) and free shipping. Please clear this up ASAP, because it seems to me like you are charging more for forum members than ebay, so I must be misunderstanding something!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/C5-Co...ht_3210wt_1167

And this was Adams response to my PM.

I'm sorry about that, all the rotor only packages are discounted. I didn't realize we had the rotor/pad packages listed so low on ebay. The competition on there is fierce and pricing changes frequently. I know I mentioned in my post that I would discount ebay pricing, so the forum price for f/r rotors + ceramic pads is now $199.99 shipped.

Thanks for bring it to my attention, invoice resent.

Excellent vendor! Thank You for the prompt response. Now lets see how your brakes hold up!!! I'm sending payment now... Thanks again...
