Dang, they are fast. I think the engine got here in town, before my card showed the charge. I also got the mailed receipt, the same day as fedex called to let me know it was here.

Thanks Jesse, and

No core charge, so I believe they do not take cores.

I plan on keeping my engine, and getting it rebuilt later on with forged parts.

I'd love to have one of these too, at that price, you can't beat it!

Kinda wondering if I can swing it with my tax refund and the proceeds from some parts I am selling too... my LS1 is getting tired and has about as much power as that engine stock, even with all it's mods.

Curious, if swapping to a base C5, what other parts needed to be changed if any? IE water pump, T-stat etc, are those the same for the LS6 also?

We have purchased a limited number of 2004-2005 405HP LS6 Cadillac long blocks. This is the same engine as the ZO6 except it has the Cadillac oil pan and NOT the Corvette oil pan. As you can see these are new in the crate and we are selling what we have for $3245.00 with FREE shipping in the 48 states! This is a savings of over $700.00 off the regular sale price. Again, it is in limited quantities.

To use in a C5 you will need to swap your oil pan over, and standard transmission cars will need to swap the pilot bearing ($16).

If you have any questions at all about these engines or the swap, or to purchase, just give me a call. My name is Jesse and I can be reached at 800-456-0211 ext 358. We (I personally as well) have done many of these swaps and we can help you with any questions you may have. We aren't just parts guys behind a desk, we love to work on our LSx powered cars as much as anyone and will gladly use our experience to help support you during your swap and/or modifications

I bought one of these from you @ 2011 or so for @ the same price. Installed it in my 03 Coupe with cold air intake and longtubes, along with rebuilding my auto trans w/HD components with a 32000rpm lock-up converter and 3:42 gears. What a beast! Had to install drag radials to keep it on the road. Very good driveability and drives absolutely normal until you stand on it. Great deal guys!
