This is Bob at Fichtner Chevrolet, a long time supporting dealer here on the Forum.

Your home dealer is correct, they are discontinued. I have ran a trace on all GM and dealer inventory in North America for you and found 3 of them showing available at dealers. Give me a call at 800-234-5284 and I will give you the dealer names and phone numbers to call. One is even in Iowa so not far from you.

Default re

Let me guess Iowa, Detroit and Texas. There were 3 dealers that showed stock last week. I contacted all 3 and was not able to speak to anyone in parts. Go figure.

aren't all C5 pcms the same? I know 97/8 tac's are different?

maybe using the inner/outer from the 99-04 cars works on the 97/8
