The gold & platinum is a color reference of the disc material, and actually the platinum is silver, I made a mistake.

Its a full face material disc, they dont chatter.

Thanks for the interest,
Mike Yeager

So does this mean that they physically cant chatter and that is the guarantee? Or is there an actual written guarantee that they wont chatter?

Also how long is this sale valid?

A full face disc such as the .5 series will not chatter. Its the puck design discs of any manufacturer that chatter.

We were all told the chatter would stop with a proper break in procedure at around 500 miles. So far mine is showing no sign of stopping the chatter and I'm at about 230 miles. I have to rev the engine to close to 2000 rpm to get a smooth engagemnet. So far I dont like this aspect of the Stage 3.

Where does you pedal let the clutch to start engagement? Is your 230 miles start and stop type driving? John if you thought something was wrong please call me and I will be glad to help you...

What's the pedal feel on these clutches, are the HP/TQ ratings for flywheel or rear wheel?? Are they zero balanced as a unit prior to shipment?

Other than the no chatter what are the advantages/disadvantages of a full face over the 6 puck design? Do they come balanced?

Hey Mike,
Lots of start and stop driving, purposefully. My pedal feels almost identical as stock as far as position related to disc engagement. I actually dont think something is "wrong", and thats why I havent taken the time to call and bug you for nothing. The chatter is just kind of annoying and takes some finese to get a perfect engagement. I guess maybe raising the rpm for engagement is the nature of this type of disc??

John I promise you will never bother me, I really love talking to you guys on the phone about your Corvettes. I am sure it will be fine once you get somemore start & stop driving on it. Thats why we suggest a 500mile break-in so it has time to seat properly, please call me when you get 500 miles on it and let me know how its doing for you.

I try very hard to make sure all of you guys are happy during the sale and also after, because its very important to me for all of you to feel very comfortable calling me for anything, even if its only to chat about the weather.

Feel free to call me anytime, 1-864-404-1776

The pedal feel on Levels 1-3.5, feel almost just like stock in a C5, when you get to the Level 4-6 they do have alittle stiffer pedal, but its not a work out at all. We have installed Level 5's for lady's even in C6 Z's and they love them.

So just give me a call, Mike Yeager 1-864-404-1776

1-4 is only a difference of $30 and then 5 jumps up $200. Why is that? What parts are so different that justify the price jump?

W/ about 450rwhp I was thinking of a Monster clutch but unsure of what level to go for.

Hi, for your Corvette I would definitely go with a Level 3 or 3.5, they are both great clutches and give you room to grow your hp/tq down the road, please let me know so we can get your clutch to you ASAP.

Also what year vette do you have?

Call me, thanks

You are right! But there is alot more advance technology in the Levels 5 & up. The design of the internals in the pressure plate took alot more time in R&D to perfect.

For you Corvette I would go with the Level 3 or 3.5, that way you also have room to grow your hp/tq and not have to change your clutch later down the road.

Contact me directly to place your order for your complete corvette clutch package.

Thanks for the interest,
Mike Yeager

I put the Stage III in mine, and I have no issues at all

The chatter was gone by about 300 miles, and maybe 8 - 10 heat cycles. I am pretty well convinced (although I have no empirical data to support it) that it is just as important to heat cycle the clutch as it is to put stop & go miles on it. IE: drive ~15 mile stop & go; let everything cool; repeat.

The harder you drive it; the more it grabs!
