fit L5 fenders & clear inside wheel well etc?
Did I miss an answer to this ?
I have changed my rear cradle to 2008 C6Z06 with trans/diff.
I have Pfdat coil-overs.
I like the Spyder style Z06 wheel - and would be curious to know your opinion would they fit if I have L5 flares?
The only concern I believe would be on the inside - not outside of the wheel - right?
Thank you
Burk
P.S. Please PM me for what would price be shipping to 64152 ?

I found this from another thread:
Grand Sport and C6Z06 wheels have the same widths and off sets and neither will work correctly on a C5. Read through this thread, specifically post #8 for details on why:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...zes-again.html
Non-C6Z06 wheels do fit the C5 reasonibly well.
Here is the wheel info for the C5 and C6:
C5 (coupe/vert):
Front 17x8.5", 58mm offset = 7.03" backspace
Rear 18x9.5" 65mm offset = 7.81" backspace
C5 Z06:
Front 17x9.5", 54mm offset = 7.38" backspace
Rear 18x10.5", 58mm offset = 8.03" backspace
C6 (coupe/vert):
Front 18x8.5", 56mm offset = 7.45" backspace
Rear 19x10", 79mm offset = 8.61" backspace
C6 Z06:
Front 18x9.5", 50mm offset = 7.22" backspace
Rear 19x12", 59mm offset = 8.82" backspace And here is a link to an offset calculator from the Internet:
http://www.1010tires.com/wheeloffsetcalculator.asp
If you have the base C5 wheels on the car use the C5 (Coupe/vert) specs in the calculator for the current wheel. (If you have the C5Z06 wheels on your car use those specs for the current wheel) Here are the results for the Coupe/Vert wheel as the current wheel.
For the front wheel there is very little change ( 2mm more inner clearance and protrude 2mm more) ( will look a bit better than does the current C5 wheel IMHO.
For the rear wheel there is 20mm less inner clearance ( not good) and the wheel retracts from the fender about 8mm. (I would not like that appearance but hey it's your car)
If you use a 3/8" hub centric spacer on the rear you will have the wheels sitting closer to the fender and gain 3/8 additional inner clearance. You will need longer studs to run a 3/8 spacer. I strongly recommend a Hub Centric Spacer if you are going to go that route.
