I'm definitely going to be getting myself a set of these . One question I haven't seen answered though, how much are the replacement bulbs?
BTW, here's a link to an earlier thread for these same kits by the same OP which has some pics and information that may answer many of the questions people might have. This should save NTRBL33 from answering a bunch of the same questions again .

Glad you are including the relay kit with the HID's. I installed mine that I bought from the last batch and had to splice into the wires on both sides for a set of relays. But I do love them after the hassle to get them working

Honestly how hard are these to install for an electrical virgin? I want a set since my stock bulbs just don't do it for me, but I honestly suck with electrical anything. I have been shocked so many times working on wiring for my house I'm hesitant to work on my Vette.

here is the link to the instructions. If you disconnect the battery, you wont get shocked If you follow these instuctions and take your time you wont have any problems. Some people like to add adult beverages to help the process

Yee-Haw!
I had been watching the website, keeping an eye out for when the stock comes back in. Order placed. My days of horrible night visibility are soon to be over

It looks like these install into the stock headlight assembly. Is that correct? Are you able to adjust them well? What about the high beams - is there a way to keep the low beam HIDs lit while the high beams are on?
What heat (?, K) range are stock HIDs on newer cars? I would guess 4300 or 6000, but would like to have something that looks stock to someone from the outside.
Thanks for the info.

these do work in your factory housing and the adjustment is the same as you are only replacing the bulb. Your high beams become obsolete with the HID low beam.
The most popular choice of light is the 6000k.

I do have a few high beam bulbs available. I don't push the high beams as there are the same light output as the low beam. The advantage in the high beam socket is the broad throw pattern. If you want to order, order a low beam 6000k kit but put HIGH BEAM in the special instructions section. Also pm or email me if you are going this route.

New Ultra Slim Ballast vs. the old style ballast.
BALLAST SPECIFICATIONS
Our Galaxy Power ballasts are equipped with next generation Digital+ Technology allowing the ballast to exert greater control over electrical flow to the bulb. As a result, the voltage output to the bulb is more consistent and stable, resulting in constant lumen output, brightness stability, with no flickering. Automatic reverse polarity protection with Dual EMI Filter protection Circuit shielding. Completely sealed and waterproof.
