Default OEM Replacement size?

Are these OEM size, or larger? Run 17's on all four corners are the track, so need to make sure rotors will clear.

Also, are only the firepaths zinc coated, or the entire rotor? Would the hats have to be stripped in some fashion to be powdercoated or painted black?

Thanks.

what he asked... Still awaiting a reply for this. A lot of drilled/slotted rotors are known to break. Just curious about how these hold up?

It IS a Holiday weekend, I really doubt there are too many vendors going to sit here and answer questions all weekend..As they used to say on an old tv show, "Patience grasshopper!" He's answered these SAME questions before when they 1st introduced these to the forum...

I guess you're right. Some ppl are here only to make $$, unlike most of us who are here for fun, and mainly our addition problems...

Hi guys it is nice to be back after the long holiday weekend. Sorry I was out of town and was unable to get to a computer to reply to the threads. I will start from the top ok ?

R8EDXX I replied to your pm this morning. Thank you.

CHIWSX these are oem replacement sizes yes they will work with the Z06

DISCTINC yes these will work for the Z06 also

dsaxman they are oem replacement sizes and also the entire rotor is dipped in the zinc.

vettefan i think the last question covered you if not these rotors are the nexr big think on the market. we are buliding a brand name they are great quality and chamfered with a six flute solid carbide chafering tool radius is very nice.

1. Are these the same diameter as the Z06 rotors front and rear? Sorry, I had to ask, but i didn't know if all C5 rotors are the same diameter.

2. How does the weight of these compare to the OEM Z06 rotors?

3. Will these rust after the pads have worn on them for awhile and then they get wet?

Yes, all of the C5 have same diameter including the ZO6.

2. How does the weight of these compare to the OEM Z06 rotors?

OEM rotors are about 19lbs(each) for the front and 14.2lbs(each) for the rear rotors. However, there will be some weight reduce because of the cooling holes and the slotted lines. (max reduce is about 1~2lbs each)

3. Will these rust after the pads have worn on them for awhile and then they get wet?

Yes, the friction surface will wear out and will rust but rust will come off once you drive again. However, the non-friction surface will not rust
