He sells the complete top for 1000 dollars I just need the canvas like ecklers sells with the hard window.
$1000 is reasonable for a complete top assembly. You should look to pay $400-500 for just the canvas, and then I'd venture several hundred more to have it installed. With a complete top, you could install it as it's just a few bolts...then you could sell your old top frame for someone else to recover.
Keep trying for a while. I got a brand new double twill one from a forum member a few months ago (top with window) for $250 and had it installed for another $250. It looks great but it took about a month before one came on the forum on my post.
