Default Pre-Cut Insulation Kit for your C5

PRE-CUT Insulation kits for your C5 Coupe, Convertible, or Z06. Kit reduces interior sound levels by an average of 10-11db at 60mph per our testing. Also virtually eliminates heat, as it rejects 97% of radiatiant heat per the manufacturer. This material was used factory in the Plymoth Prowlers and Dodge Vipers (not sure about the SRT). Dynamat Extreme tests have shown average of 12-14db but eliminate no heat and the uncut material will cost you $400-500 alone.

Includes the full kit from up front under the dash, all the way to the back wall of the trunk. Full instructions with pictures, includes tools needed and disassembly of the interior - to make this easy for even a first timer!

Requires only basic hand tools, a can of spray adhesive (although some customers do not use any), and a roll of aluminum A/C duct tape. All of these would be available at your local hardware store.

Email me if you would like to see the install files prior to deciding.

Normal cost is $235 shipped (MUCH cheaper than any other kit on the market). Forum member price $210 shipped to you in the USA.

Nice way to go you guys - I did the rear cargo area of my C5 with the rolls.. and yes, its a PAIN in the rear! Cutting, fitting, slicing your hands up.
More work than it was worth.
Considering doing the front half of the car with a precut kit when time allows.

I did everything from behind the seats to the back bumper just before leaving for Bowling Green, KY (9 hour drive).
2000 C5 Coupe - non runflat tires.

reducuction in road noise was very noticable but I now hear it from different places. (ie. the halo) Which makes sense. its a hollow cavity and prone to amplifying vibrations and noise.

The next step for me is to line the driver and passenger compartments.
After that, I will take another road trip and see if I need to stuff the halo with insulation or remove the wheel wells and stuff there.

my 2 cents (sorry to hijack Cowboy)

Jesse - yes, it will make a difference. As you can read even from Rain's post after yours. I can refer you to many other customers that will attest to it also.

I would do the rear or front only for $125 shipped

Rain - Thanks for the posts

Payments can be made to paypal at sales@exoticvette.com

or you can mail to:

Hey Rob,

Will email you also, but payment options are above. You can also pay for the kit on the website (www.ExoticVette.com) and I will refund the difference to your card.

I make the convertible partitions, but they actually should fit in the FRC and give you a little more interior room than the standard flat one. I will try it on a Z06 this weekend..... I've been wanting to try it in one for quite a while now and always forget when I have a Z06 around. I will take pics of it in there when I do also.

If you order a partition with it I will do a discounted price for both. If you order one later, remind me and I will also discount it later if seperately.

I wouldn't bother doing only the trunk. Do the entire car.. It's a full day project, but hey - good things take time.
