Long shot but gotta ask... Specter Werkes rear cover
Anyone got one for sale? Perhaps someone that purchased one and changed their mind, sold the car, etc, etc...
I know it's a long shot but with my luck, I'll buy one and get an email asking why I didn't ask if someone had one for sale...
Thanks,
Mark

I want the same thing, maybe we could get a GP discount going. I'll call and ask them tomorrow.
By the way, what brand and line of paint does GM use on the C5's?

I believe GM is still using Dupont. I can check it out for sure. And HELL YEAH, I'm in if you can get a group buy going...

Im interested.I thought awhile back someone in a post was saying that the fit was not very good and there was a problem with cracking. I think it was the specter werks rear fascia.

As for me, I plan on blending it in to my quarter panels for a seamless look.
So, we have 3 for sure and between the different forums, I'm sure we can get more takers!

Anyway, any bodyshop that installs the rear cover will be able to trim/fit/modify the rear cover as necc.
Thanks Glenn for your time...

Glenn,
I checked into the rear spoiler that Mid America sells. It's like teh Caravaggio spoiler but without the long ends that cross over the qtr/rear cover seam.
It's made out of TPO urethane which is what the OEM rear cover is made out of.
Point is... just to be different, I'm going to purchase the rear spoiler and buy a new OEM bumper cover. I'm going to mold it into the rear cover and see what it looks like.
Just thought I'd let you guys know before we got a group buy going...

I share the identical opinions you do about all the spoilers/fascias available. The SW fascia rocks...but mucho labor involved to get it to fit and look good. The MA spoiler is the right idea, but still looks too "stuck on" (although better than the Caravaggio).
The molded-in idea is good, very good. Keep us posted.

Tomorrow I'll post a pic of a front chin spoiler we molded on a Lexus GS400 frt cover last year.
When I get the parts, I'll take pics of how's it's going...

SW makes a well made product, and only minor work is needed fitting it to the car. Aprox 3 hours to remove the stock facia, fit the new one, and remove to paint. Really finishes the back of the car .
