what year did vettes get the ls6 intake?

Default what year did vettes get the ls6 intake?
may sound like a stupid question knowing the zo6 came out in 01' but with how screwy gm can be thought they may have thrown it on 00' models...anyone know the anwser?

i would have assumed 00 or 01 considering fbodies got them in 01...but usually the vettes get the technology first so i thought maybe they started getting the intakes in 00'.

If I read the Corvette Black Book right, it stated in 2001 the LS6 intake was put on all Vettes.

They started on the 01's. My 00 didn't have one and I got one off an 01.

2001 Z06 is the first year of the LS6 intake on a C5! Came standard starting with the 02's on all C5's!

wow im actually more confused now about this issue then i was before i posted lol odd how gm would keep using ls1 intakes on only vettes in 01 and put the ls6 on fbodies and only the ZO6, odd.

My 2001 came with the LS6 intake.

And LS5 exhaust manifolds.

And the LS6 block.

Lot of misinformed people here. A few people got it right. 2001 up y-body and f-body all got LS6 intakes. Period.

...StuzVette is a 2001...and I exhanged my LS1 intake for the LS6 intake...and discovered that in 2002 the LS6 intake was used on other than the Z06... I am not cerrtain however if it was the whole year or picked up during the year...

My 2001 was born 9-20-00 without the LS6 intake...
