Default Lots of work. I hope it pays off.

I finished up my interior insulation project today. I did the rear hatch area and inner wheel wells a few weeks ago and noticed a decrease in interior noise. I did the rest today in the driver and passenger area. I'm hoping it will cut down on the heat generated by the LG headers and quiet the road noise some. I used Reflectix (foil on both sides) on the tunnel and FrostKing (foil one side & rubber on the other side) on the floor. Took about 5 hrs for the rear and 6 hours for the front area.

Good job...

...My console used to get soooo hot...

not so now...its significantly cooler...in fact right now, no matter how I drive, its not even warm...at all!!!

and I have recognized a significant decrease in road noise...
..we did double insulate behind the seats and areas in the rear...

Don't tell too many people - you'll be asked to help do the same thing on Mod Day!

Congrats on the install!

I ordered a kit from Dan. I will be in the same boat here shortly!

Looks like i have my work cut out for me as I will be doing new Vette Essentials seats at the same time!

Yep, I don't think you will get any argument on this from those that have done it.
