Question for Corsa Touring Owners

Question for Corsa Touring Owners
I originally had SW Long Tubes, Random Cats & X-Pipe running to stock mufflers on my 2001 6 sp. The car sounded great (to me) but had a loud resonance between 2500 -3000 rpm. Reinstalled the stock center section and the resonance went away (along with some of my gains). Now that I have half of a high performance exhaust system sitting in my garage I'm trying to come up with the best compromise between a quiet interior and a free flowing exhaust. Corsa's propaganda says they have licked the resonance problem with their system and hence my question:
Do the Corsa Touring Mufflers provide a quiet interior with no resonance?
Are they significantly louder then the stock mufflers inside the car?

Don't know about Touring but my Indys sure don't have in cabin resonance!

I have the touring in my car. I have done many mods to my exhaust over the years but resonance is something I have never had no matter what I did to the rest of the car.

I have Kooks long tube headers, Corsa X-pipe and Touring exhaust setup. I have no resonance issues whatsoever. The sound is exactly what I was looking for.

I have the Touring but it is connected to a Bassani X-pipe from day one. Never had the resonance problem but it did had some popping noise until I had the car programmed with a Predator. Now it's just as loud as I want it.

FLP headers, Maggie and Corsa Touring - zero resonance at cruise - a bit of decel popping due to the fairly rich AFR needed for the s/c. Overall sound level - just right for me, sounds way better than OEM mufflers, but not so loud as to get undue attention from the police.
The neighbors do advise that they no longer need to set alarm clocks in the am - the start up in my garage wakes them up.

I also have the Touring and no resonance issues at all. HTH

No problems here with my Touring but just a little note. 6th gear is when I really love the quiteness of my Touring crusing on the road. If I'm in 5th gear on the hwy and doing 55, then it's a bit loud. Big cams don't like low RPM so if I'm under 60MPH then I have to up shift into 5th to avoid bucking.

Corsa Touring w/Tiger Shark tips and x-pipe. I love 'em.
I can hear them under WOT or not at idle or cruise. I think they're great!!!

What made those of you with the Corsa system pick the Touring over the Pace? I'm contemplating the Corsa exhaust in the spring, but not sure which way to go. Also, what about the x-pipe? Is that worth going for as long as one puts on the new exhaust? Thanks. Dan

I too wanted a better exhaust note on my 00 6sp vert. I had saved for months. $$$ was a factor. saw the thread from Paul @ West Coast that they were selling off Corsa's @ $699... I bought... I put them on myself. I was amazied. After about three days of daily driving they settled in. They are as advertised... At WOT they are LOVELY... At cruse they are more silent than the stock system. I still can't believe it!
They are the best investment I have made. The only problem is that the milage has suffered. It has dropped from 18.5 in town to 17 in town... Must be that great noise... I have the Indy's... LOVE them!!!!!
