For those of you that have been thinking about adding an aftermarket hood to your car, this is the way to go. MCM makes a fantastic product and Ken is offering a great price.

Don't quote me but it's roughly 2 weeks out at this time.
You Vette looks so sweet!! Have the stripes been made to work with the MCM hood?

Ken

I just picked my car up from MCM yesterday and here are some pics I took in the garage. They're not the best because my camera doesn't take good pics in the garage. I'll post more when I take more outside.

I've seen AC54ME's hood and the cleared CF is just killer. The pics are great, but they don't do the hood (or his car) justice. IMO no hood I've seen comes close to these. Wonder how that cleared CF would look on a black vert?

I thought about doing the CF insert but Mike at MCM said that black cars look best with an all black hood. They will do the inserts he said but he thinks their original hood looks the best out of them all. I'm glad I went with the all black hood compared to the carbon insert. It looks evil as hell. I've only drove it twice and have had a bunch of turned heads going down the road.

This is a black Vette with the carbon cleared. It was painted and installed at MCM also.

We have a non cleared MCM hood on our Yellow Z06. I was thinking about putting on the cleared hood then adding the black stripes over the top to finish it off. Too much?

When I was there Tuesday picking up my car I seen a bunch of hoods since the time I dropped my car off which was about 2 weeks earlier. So I think they were making these hoods for the GP. When I showed Tuesday Mike was on the phone with someone I believe they were involved with the GP.
