Hey Mike - make these to fit a Motor City Mold hood and I'd buy. Don't trust anyone around here to try and make your ones for the stock hood to fit the MCM hood.

We only have had 1 issue reported on the clear top BUT that clear top got a big CRACK on it ... so I don't think it is the clear top issue

I can give you a free black hood set so you can play around it with to what I need to do to get it worked.
To me, it just needs to cut a bit longer since you'll need to wrap around the induction hole ...
Let me know.

Different people got different taste so my taste for your black FRC would be big silver and small red.
The silver would match your wheels and the red would match your brake calipers (if you have painted red) or your engine compartments.
Just my 0.02$
Here are some suggesting color combination (bigger/smaller stripes). These are just my 0.02$ on my taste. Different people got different taste
1. Pewter or quick machine silver C5's: black/black, black/red, CF/CF, CF/red
2. Quick silver C5's: same as above plus electron blue/red
3. Black C5's: metalic silver/red or red/metalic silver, met gunmetal/red, met gunmetal/met silver, met gunmetal/met gunmetal, met silver/met silver
4. Red C5's: met silver/black, met silver/CF, black/black, CF/CF, black/met silver, white/white
5. Yellow C5's: black/black, CF/CF, black/met silver, black/met gunmetal
6. Magnatic red C5's: met dark charcoal/met gunmetal, met dark charcoal/met silver, met gunmetal/met silver, CF/CF, etc ...

No Nassau Blue pic's?? I bet Carbon Fiber would look good on it.
Is the price for the CF the same as the two tone solid color?
TIA

Mike,
Thanks for the fast reply. I'm leaning towards your suggestion of silver/red trim. However, my significant other doubled the price she expects to pay for the stripes; she refers to me as somewhat 'challenged' and expects me to destroy the first set just trying to install them.
Do you (or anybody else for that matter) have some detailed instructions/tips on how these things get installed? Is there any possibility of damaging the paint finish?
Any and all details would be welcome.
For now, go ahead and put me down for a set of silver/red trim stripes.

When the GP is on, I will refund $40 back to you.
Or you can wait until we get 10 people.
Let me know what you want!
Thanks,
