Default Help on getting the Nose off...

I have a 2001 Coupe and I want to take the nose completely off for some "minor surgery" (cleaning and detailing the radiator, removing bugs etc. )

Is there a "How to" or a step by step on how to remove and reattach the nose section?

Any help/links/pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks

Pretty easy. I've done it by myself but I suggest you get an assistant to help you lift it away and then place it back on the car to prevent accidental scratches and also to do the final positioning adjustments as you tighten the inner nuts.

I can send you the illustrated procedure from the manual if you PM me your email addy.

I've done it before, just looked around, poked around, and eventually got it off. I remeber there being a really retartded square screw behind the front license plate filler. Not mention the 4 screws I was left over with, after I put her back together

This is the reason I think that Evil-Twin is unappreciated.

Especially, read his rejoiner further down in the post rebutting the ridiculous attack from the aggressive "race or bust" poster.

Way to go, Evil-Twin!!! I like your style
