From Kia to Corvette...
Hey Guys...
Just wondering what your *other* cars are?
I've got a Black 2004 Corvette - but believe it
or not, my other car is a Kia Spectra :o
After a drive in my Corvette, driving the Kia
seems like driving a home-made go kart...
I start up the Kia and have to get out and
pop the hood to make sure it's running...
I step on the gas and have to look down to
make sure my foot is actually on the gas pedal...
I turn the sloppy steering wheel 20 degrees to the
right and nothing happens (another 50 degrees and
she begins to respond)...
On the highway I attempt to speed up to avoid
being cut in front of - and watch helplessly...
as I'm cut in front of...
I reach the Kia's top speed of 80 blistering miles per
hour and the car sounds the same as when I'm carrying
my recycling bin full of pop cans out to the edge
of my driveway...
Actually, the Kia's not a bad car, but man, what
a contrast to the Vette!
I need a bumper sticker for my Vette that says:
"My Other Car's a Kia".

My other 2 cars are a 1993 Cadillac Allante and a 1992 Oldsmobile Toronado. The Oldsmobile is the job site car most of the time and on really gorgeous days, I have to make a decision as to which vert to drive, Vette or Caddy since both are so much fun to drive!!!

The other car
My "rainy day" car is a 2000 Nissan Sentra. It does the job but makes for some interesting highway passing lane attempts (sometimes, when in the Sentra, I daydream that I'm driving the vette and jump into the passing lane. Gas pedal is to the floor and traffic is screaming up in the rearview. Oops!! Back into the slow lane.)

wife drives an '04 Honda Element
I have a heavily modified '02 Toyota Tundra pickup
I am very fortunate as this allows my '04 Z06 to always look like a garage queen, but the lack of rubber on my F1 Supercars gives her true identity away

My everyday car is a 1996 Toyota Camry and the Silverado and Vette get to stay in the garage. That is until I have to get the vette out for a few spins a week.

My everyday cars are a 99 and 2004 Tahoe. My husband does not drive the vette at all so the Tohoe's are really his and the vette is mine

I've got a '91 Mazda B3000 truck, and my wife has an '03 Jeep Liberty. I had a 2000 Toyota Camry before getting the Vette ... quite a change! But the Vette's gas mileage is almost as good as the Camry's.
