Default What brand of car cover do you use and why?

I am thinking buying a car cover for 03 Z06. What brand do you like and why? Did you continue to use it? I am looking at using it outdoors when I drive somewhere and park. I keep my car in the garage so I just want a light but effective cover so that it is easy to put on and off. Any tips on putting it on and off? Is it easy to put on without letting it touch the ground and picking up dirt that maybe rubbed into the paint?

Thanks for any help in deciding.

I have a Wolf brand cover that I use every now and again.

As for on and off I usually roll it up from the sides till I get the 2 rolls to meet in the middle and then roll it up front to back then when I need to use it again I set it on the car and unroll it....never hits the ground that way

I have a California Car Cover in DuPont "Noah" fabric. Fits perfect, very easy on and off. Bought it on a GP years ago.

I had one for my 2000 and used it a couple times when I didn't have a garage. PITA to get on by myself so I stopped using it. Don't remember the brand but it was heavy and light blue. Now that I have a garage I just use a duster every day and don't even think about the cover. (Still got the stupid thing bunched up in the back of the garage somewhere...) Worst part I can remember was trying to take the cover off on a dewy morning. Amazing how much moisture a cover can hold! Then what do you do with a wet cover? But then, my car is a daily driver. If you have a weekend car the cover might be worth it.

Actually the NOAH fabric is made by Kimberly-Clark, not DuPont. And I would also highly recommend a cover made with this fabric. Very light and soft, but extremely good outdoor protection. One of the better water repellent fabrics, that still "breathes".

California Car Cover Superweave, simply the best cover I've used, a little more in cost but worth it; www.calcarcover.com

I have been using a wolfe brand "noah" for 5 years. I have a garage but drive to work and cover the car daily. It can be put on and taken off in less than 3 minutes. I roll from front to the roof and the back to the roof then roll it up and put in in trunk. It never hits the ground. They are easy to wash, just put in the washing machine and hang out to dry.

Just make sure material is Noah, They are light and durable and will protect the car. "always park the nose to the wind so it doesn't blow off.

I have the silver $150 Mid America cover. I only use it in the garage when it sits for a while. The only reason I have it is because Les Stanford gives you a free one (and custom embroidered!) when you buy there. How's that for a fairly worthless post?

I use a wolf brand,I do not use it very much,I usually use my indoor cover because she is parked in garage but when the occasion happens I will use it-it is form fitted perfectly-you can tell that it was made for my car,I would buy it again if I had the choice.

I recently purchased the Wolfe Noah. My 97 Coupe is garage kept but I cover it to help protect it from light contact (I have 3 teenage boys). I also wanted something I could use outside when traveling. The cover seems to be made very well. Very easy to get on/off. My cover has yet to touch the floor. I would recommed to anyone.

I bought and use the GM car cover. It is very light weight, easy to put on and take off plus it stuffs neatly into the supplied carrying bag and fits in the back storage well.

We use a grey flanel that we ordered to Eckler's, the Z is always clean, the cover is light and easy to stow in the trunk, washable as well.
Two pictures in the garage where the light was not optimum, but you can understand why we use a cover :

I found a better picture of the Z in the garage with the cover half removed :
