GHL steps up to the plate for Angie Moore (Auction)
If you've been following the posts concerning the recent accident of a fellow Corvette owner and Forum Member, Angie Moore, then you know how much she needs our help.
Angie broke her back and pelvis in a motorcycle accident this last holiday weekend.
She has no family and her 18 yr. old son Troy is working two jobs to help out.
She is self-employed and is not expected to return to work for months.
She attends the Calvary Chapel in southern calif.
You can get further information by reading the Events:Pacific, C5 General,C6 General or C4 General forums.
I received an e-mail from Brian Gerber and his brother Jeff, the owners of GHL Exhaust.
They have graciously donated any exhaust that they sell to be auctioned off and 100% of the money will go to Angie and her son to cover medical and other bills brought on by this terrible accident.
This is a PRIME example of how this forum and it's members and a supporting vendor has put there own concerns aside for just a moment in order to help out one of our "Family"
I spoke to Brian Gerber on the phone and after our conversation, it was very clear in my mind why GHL is at the top of eveyone's list when exhausts are mentioned on this forum!!
He felt bad that he hadn't noticed earlier the post concerning Angie.
On my behalf and I'm sure Angie's and Troy,
Thank You Brian and Jeff Gerber, GHL Exhaust
Let the bidding begin

Details
As far as the details:
The high bidder can have their choice of either the Magnum series or the Bullet series exhaust. The full amount offered by the high bid will be forwarded to help Angie.
I have not met either Angie or her son. I only know that someone needs help.....Let's get together...A little bit from everyone can add up to something 'BIG'.

Yup, I just spoke to Brian a couple days ago when I ordered my GHL Magnum exhaust. They run a 1st class operation and it shows. Too bad I already ordered mine or I'd be all over this auction. Good luck to the bidders and thanks to Brian and Jeff.

You guys at GHL are First Class! Thats why I have your exhaust on my car.
This forum is full of great people as evidence by the fund that was generated to help that family in Florida after Hurricane Charley. I think Angie is also in need and maybe someone can set up a Paypal account to receive donations for her medical and living expenses. I would do it but I live in Hawaii so it may be hard logistically. Maybe a local member who lives nearby can help set things up.
What do you guys think?
***Edit I just saw another thread where they are setting something up so we can make donations.

Ghl
I just ordered mine last weekend from Brian and we had a long conversation.
What a beautiful gesture from wonderful people. Me, my son and all of our friends will be their customers for life.
Thanks Brian and Jeff.

Hi Charlene,
I'm not aware of a list of items. I noticed a MTI offering on the tech board. It seems that you can place your bid on the post.
