Default What is the best tire balancing machine?

I bought new Pilot Sport ZP's and now have a vibration in the steering wheel at 70+MPH. I figure they need better balanced, or at least hope that is the problem. I remember reading somewhere that there is a specific balancing machine that is better than others. Anybody know what I am talking about?

Default Tire Balancing

I have heard that Chevrolet Authorized Corvette dealers are the best places to have your tire/rims balanced?

You can check with Luke @ tire rack or Nate at the Corvette Garage or maybe Bob at House of Wheels.

There is a specific Hunter machine (some reason a model 7500 comes to mind) that is supposed to be top of the line. Checking with any of the above places should give you a solid answer.

Hunter Roadforce - most of the top line tire dealers have them. I know the Discount tire Retail stores have them in Arizona. So does Xtreme Motorsports. It is the best!

The thing that makes the hunter Road Force machine so good is that it not only measures balancing needs but gives very precise numbers on how far out of round the tire is. If a tire is too far out of round no ammount of balancing will fix it.
