What do you guys think? I had the Corsa on my 99 Firebird and loved it. Does it detract from the vette going away from the stock exhaust??

Ahhhhhhh, no! Make that baby breath and flow better! Get the exhaust package! You need to get that exhaust.
Of course, I went BORLA.
My two pennies worth.

Are you serious?
You might get one or 2 people that say to keep it stock but 99.9% of us will say to get that crap off their and go with something aftermarket.
I would recommend the Borla Stingers and not the Corsas but that is just my opinion.
Whichever one you choose it will be a million times better than stock.

It would be much easier to install any exhaust system with the car on a lift.
It can be done jacked up, and I guess if you're not doing a cat-back installation it wouldn't be too hard.

yeah that's what I thought. Looks a lot easier than my 99 Bird. Few bolts and the stock system is off. I just can't decide on the tigershark or the pro series set. I'm not sure the tiger shark is worth the extra money.

Get the Corsa's. They will let the engine breath much better and sound great.

I my opinion, an aftermarket exhaust is a must. Your Vette will breathe better, look better, and sound better. This is one of the first mods most Vette owner's do. Lots of brands. Check them out before you buy. I have Borla's. Hope this helps.

I just install Corsa Pace Car w/Pro Tips this past weekend and all I can say is WOW what a differnece! Nice rumble at idle, quiet at cruise speeds and a nice throaty growl when pressed. I think I did it right the first time

I'd stay away from the Corsa unless you need to quiet down a car that's gotten too loud from no cats, headers, heads, cam, etc...
IMHO, Corsas sound weak on a mostly stock car. I had Corsas on my C5. After two unsolicited negative comments from a couple of buddies - they said the car sounded "weird" - I ditched the Corsas. These were the same guys that loved the sound of my Borla-equipped LT1 Camaro. I never loved the sound of the Corsas on my C5, either, so their unsolicited opinions were just the last straw.
Don't buy a system solely based on the opinions here, you've got to go out and listen to these systems in person and feel the resonance, which can be a big problem in a C5. IMHO, the Borla and GHL systems sound real nice on most cars.

Borla's are the most used exhaust here ,Ive been to numerous car shows& heard Corsas& they didnt sound as good as Borlas,I just finished heads/cam& I have Kooks headers w/cats & they sound awesome, theyre quiet on hi-way, even with my setup, until you gas it.

But I loved the sound of the Corsa on my 99 Firebird. wouldn't they sound very similar? I mean the C5 and the LS1 Firebirds?? If they are close I will go with the Corsa because I thought it was awesome on the Bird.
