Estimated value of a C5 I'm considering
A local fellow has a C6 on order and is going to be selling his 2004 C5 upon delivery.
It is a torch red coupe, automatic, with virtually all the options, and 11k on the ticker.
Any ideas on the value of this fine machine? Any hints on how much that figure would differ at the actual time of delivery of his C6?
Thanks in advance for any responses

There'll be 3 catagories:
1) "Wholesale" ie dealers will pay on a trade-in.
2) "Private Party" or what one w/should expect to pay a private party seller (like your case)...&
3) "Retail" the price most dealers will expect.
Good luck.

Excellent point you've made there. So I went and checked with a couple of the local dealers here in town and find they are not inclined whatsoever to knock off near that much on a new 2004. Maybe a couple grand....with the sales manager's approval, of course.
I walked out and left while the salesman was supposedly "haggling" with his manager.
But since you made the point, I will check out some of the forum supported dealers here and see what's cooking.
Thanks!

Someone here just got 12,000 off a New 04 Coupe...with 0 miles and an A title... and a brand new 3yr /36,000 mile warranty..
Ive seen kerbeck give 13,000 off a new 04 Vert.
A used 04 with that much milage 11,000 .... should deduct another 5,000. it has 11,000 miles on it and you will lose 1/3 of the warranty. So I would say 15,000 to 17,000 off MSRP would be about right.. of course this guy wont understand that...
