Default Z06 Insomnia....PIC ADDED

My 2004 Machine Silver/Mod Red Z06 just arrived from Bowling Green to my dealer last night ! I went right down and checked her out. She was still wrapped in plastic, but oh baby what a sight  She is gorgeous !

I pick her up tomorrow at 1:00 pm after detail. They are going to put her on the lift so I can check the underside.

I read about the shock stuffers awhile back...are they yellow ? Where do I look to make sure they got removed ?

How can I possibly sleep tonight ??? This my first Corvette...can you say
E-X-C-I-T-E-D

Here is a teaser pic...my boy...6 year old (aka: No Brake Jake for the way he rides his Honda 50...he likes to go fast) ...jumped right in, grabbed the wheel and asked, "Dad, can I drive it when I get big ?" Talk about a proud moment...made me tear right up. I told him.."In ten years..you bet !" And the next generation of Corvette owner is born....

If you're anything like me, you're gonna like it even more than you think.

It's a great car, no doubt.

Congrats and ENJOY~!!

Ps: What's gonna be your 1st mod~?

Congratulations. I hope you are ready for the perminant grin
on your face! You do not have to worry about the shock stuffers.
They are for the Magnetic Selective Ride control F55. This is not
offered on the Z06,

Nice ride!!! And I know understand the insomnia thing too!! I wouldn't let the dealer detail a cavalier let alone my Vette. You might want to consider taking it to a professional detailer, which I did, or doing it yourself. I didn't trust those guys making $6.50/hr when it came to detailing mine. :nono:

I drove mine home with the plastic on it, inside and out. I wanted to make sure only polish would ever be used on the paint.
Congratulations!

Hey I have been to West Virgina to do some skiing at Snowshoe. How does the Z06 handle those hairpin turns and steep mountain inclines?

Congratulations. Once up in the air the Chevy techs should know what to look for regarding the shock stuffers. Post photos when you can and never lose that excitement.

Thanks to all of you...I AM so excited...just like the day I got my license...but more so....

Winemeup911....first mod are the Borla Quad Rounds sitting in my garage from the WCC GP ! My partition is waiting beside that too. Got some decals and SS letters for the Fuel Rails, Sterring wheel, Front & Rear Facia, air bridge, etc waiting to go on as well. Aluminum Z06 pedals standing by also. Rhino ramps are here. The little MBZ jack is on the way.

Next up is the Halltech TRAP with LS edit and T-stat :smash:

Wheels will take awhile...either CCW or HRE split spokes of course :smash:

I am practicing on pics so will have some soon I hope :seeya :flag :grouphug:
