I am now calling CNV CORVETTES IN ARIZONA and buying a big block 67 which will be worth 10k more by next year.......
You also might want to rethink both the the idea that market's going to continue to rise and who you intend to buy from.

Re: LOOSING MONEY / CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!! (EviLS6)
Needed transportation, bought a Z06.
I like it.
Gas mileage $ucks sometimes - but I enjoy those times, so that's OK.
Tire$ and brake pad$ wear out fast - but I enjoy pushing thier limits, so that's OK.
Someday, when the seats are cracked, dry and worn, when the engine is blowing smoke, sputtering and hard to start, when the paint is faded, chipped and lost it's luster and when the odometer has filled a great portion of the space provided with an impressively large number,... I will let it go without an irrational expectation of making a profit - satisfied that it I have extracted my money's worth before paying someone to haul it away.

If you can get a BB '67 to hook you'd be in the 12's...**** poor? I don't think so.

****This ranks among one of the most worthless threads I've read in about 3 years. Enough with these "Z06 value" threads already.
It is a car, not an investment. Anyone who buys a mass produced late model car as an investment is a total tool. If you want to invest buy Real Estate in a good area.****
:iagree:

Re: LOOSING MONEY / CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!! (DIAMOND DAVE)
One other thought to an otherwise well answered thread. Vintage cars have cycles as well as anything else. Jag E-types in, out. Early Porsche Spyders in, out. Right now, mid years are hot, early years are ok, C3's are probably becoming the best investment and I'd put money on C4's and ZR1's in about 5 to 10. Two years from now, mid years may not be the hot ticket anymore, things change. If you really want percentage increases, buy an old Camaro.
