:bs Not on a C5...but to be historically correct...
If you ordered RPO Z06 on a '63-'67 Sting Ray (initially only on the coupe), and ordered either the base V8 (327 ci - 250 hp) or the L75 (327 ci - 300 hp), you could order a Powerglide.
BTW - The Z06 option, in effect, deleted the steering damper, added peformance wheels and brakes, a heavy-duty suspension, and a 36.5 gallon gas tank.
Oh well, you modern day motorheads (knuckleheads?) prolly don't care anyway.
But that was then and this is now. :seeya

Not quite... The Z06 option required FI, or the 360/375 HP engine, which was not available with Powerglide. Sorry..

Yes they did! :yesnod:
They made 10 in 2001 but the first 10 men that drove them screamed as their genitals changed from male to female (very painful and embarrassing process) so for liability reasons GM dropped the option.

I do know that in 1963 that the L84 engine was 360 HP (became 375 HP in 1964 MY). A 360 HP engine was ONLY available in '62 and '63, never again after that. "Corvette - An American Classic, Dan Lyons and John F. Katz"
When you say "not quite", or somesuch, back it up with which publication you are getting your info from. Sorry...
