Done with the Z forever, farewell y'all
As previously mentioned my car has been in the shop 9 times in the last two months, and I think that is F'ing ridiculous. So, I was contemplating ways to rid myself of this hassle, with the lemon law or what. In doing research I found that you must have owned the car from brand new to even qualify. So, I traded it in. Buyers beware, do not purchase a black 02 Z06 with around 11000 miles on it in the Dallas area, do not get stuck with my lemon.Anyways I dumped the POS and got me an RX8. I did not buy the new car for speed but it handles better than the Z, what I mean by that is you can actually accelerate going around a corner and not have to worry about the back of the car sliding out. The new car is WAY more comfortable and has more features that I like, and they cut me a check for $3000 to take it off there hands. So I am sorry to say, but, I have owned 2 vettes now and neither were very well built, if I ever get a new one it will not be until the C6 is tried and true. Thankyou all it has been a pleasure visiting the website.

That thing cant even run 13s. At least you could have gotten something a lil more decent. And it handles better than a Z06?

The Z06 is a much better, nicer, faster, and better looking car. If I were you, I'd have tried again rather than just dismiss the car. Oh well....you're the one that's missing out! :)
I'll take my zero problem Z06 and 405hp any day of the week and twice on Sunday. :cool: :yesnod:

Sorry that you got a crappy Z, but rx8 sucks way worse than a crappy Z. You should have traded it in on another Z!

I saw an RX8 for the first time a few weeks ago. It didn't look too bad but it seemed that the styling of the front of the car didn't quite match the back. It just looked off for some reason. Looks like more of a chik car but that's just my dumb opinion.

Sorry you got a bad Corvette! A Vette is about 1/2 race car, 1/2 street car so unless you are prepared for that, then you are better off with a pure street car, that is smoother driving, but slower.

Good luck and enjoy! Life is too short to be in a car you don't like. For me, though, I would rather fight my way to a fix than give up my Vette. :thumbs:

Look dude, you took the easy way out. All of us from time to time have had a "problemed" car. I had to put throw-out bearings in my Cobra several times. Guess what, although frustrated, it didn't make me hate the car. Things are man made, none of us are God, therefore, we are not perfect. Things break!!! That simple...Um, rotary engines...those things never have had a history of trouble! (sarcasm:WIDE OPEN) :seeya

Sorry you had bad luck with your Z06. Personally, I've had no problems with mine, so I can't complain about quality issues. Enjoy the new ride.

Sorry you had so much trouble. My Black 02' Z06 with 25,000 has never been to the shop.
Congrats on the RX-8...now I have another hot car to outrun with my Dodge SRT-4. :D

That sucks that you had so many problems with your C5s. The RX8 isn't the car for me but my wife really likes your new car.
