Default Chrome Rims

Anyone heard or bought from Tomz Wheels?

They are offering repro Z06 rims for $829 for all four.

Any quality problems or bad service?

Thanks

I wouldn't trust them to be made in the USA for that price. Best to spend extra and get the ones made here. Too many quality issues with the ones made in China and Taiwan.

I got my Chromies for just under $700 out the door, including install and balance. I thought about getting cheap repos, but I felt shady getting them for so cheap. Can't go wrong with OEM with triple plating.

Wow! $700 sounds pretty cheap to me. Where did you get them? Were they OEM?

Sorry didn't mean to get you excited. I forgot to mention I did the wheel exchange program. Can't remember their name, but they are based in Fontana, CA. If you want the name let me know and I'll dig it up. And yes they are OEM's.

I was just looking at their website and he stated they were manufactured in Colorado. I'm thinking of going with them.

Thanks,

I got mine through West Coast Corvette, they do a super job of plating OEM wheels - that way you are not picking up extra weight. They mail you the chromed wheels, you pay a core and that is refunded when they get your old ones (in good shape of course). Good company, I am very pleased.

Personally I would avoid repro's.

Me too. Just installed some chrome OEM's today. Very little weight added and I know they are the right wheels for the car.

My chrome Z06 wheels were bought from one of out forum vendor and are made by O.E. Concepts. Inside each wheels was a sticker "MADE IN CHINA". Now these are really great wheels and I am very satisified with them. But, according to TomZ Wheels, O.E. Concepts is located in Grand Junction Colorado. Whenever I see contridicting info, I get concerned
