Ok, I have heard of many types of cams to put into a 2001 Z06. What is the best cam out there? :auto:

I have the F1 cam in my car. I have heard good things about the LG G5X2 cam making good power and good times at the track as well.

Depends on what you are looking for. They're will always be trade offs. Do you want max power, drivability etc.

I am also interested in knowing what cam to put in my '01 Z06. I am interested in something that idles well and passes emissions (IM240 or whatever it is in Utah). I think that MTI's B1 cam would be a good choice. The GT3 Lingenfelter cam looks good, but is probably down on power compared to the B1. Any other emissions cams out there that would make good power up to 6600 rpm and give me at least 25 hp (cam only) without the need of a PCM reprogram? Thanks.

Well, the cam that I want is the one that will idle well, get the most performance and ponies out of it, and overall a good cam that will make the Z run like the wind. :steering:

I've got a 232/236 114 comp cam that runs pretty good.. Lopes pretty hard though.
