Hey I’m the new guy around here I just got my 2003 ZO6 it’s black on black with 67k miles
and the reason I’m hear is I was wondering what would be the best after market wheels to throw on my C5Z Besides ccw’s (I don’t got money like that) LOL
my price range is about 1500 bucks and below
just a all around good looking wheel
the ones I had in mind was the Black C5 zo6 wheels with the machined Lip stock size
17’s and 18’s thank u guys

Cray makes some good looking wheels and Forgestar (F14) is a good choice.

CCW wheel prices are insane, now, and they discontinued their most popular line-up, the SP series. Unfortunately, with a $1500 budget, you are most likely looking at replica C6 or C7 wheels, with a C5 fitment.

Check out OE Wheels https://www.oewheelsllc.com
I picked up a set from them a few months ago. They shipped same day and arrived packged well.

Check out MRR wheels or tire rack. And I would go with a 18/19 combo, lots of tires available. If you have the original z06 wheels, keep them, polish them up, etc.. You might be surprised how much they are worth.

They... what?
When did they discontinue the SP500s? I may end up needing flares and wider wheels in the next year depending on traction vs power with mine. I love my 19s and very glad I got them clearanced for BBK use when ordered but this may complicate things.
Were they not selling for some reason? The SP500 design style is a clean and classic look which applies to MANY cars. Hearing that the new parent company elected to cancel the wheel is odd. Do they offer the same look in a different class now?
Edit: I went to their website just now. I can honestly say that I would not purchase any of the existing wheel styles being sold. Weld seems to have imposed some negative direction once they took over. My set was one of the last made in the OG production facility as the transition was occurring imminently to Weld ownership. Was this in 2015? 2016? I don't recall. Sad to see the change. I'll tell you what, I'm going to be a bit more hawkish in the future if I see a set being sold. Though a set of F14s is more imminent for my next set of needs with the car.

On the McKinney TX Marketplace, there is a set of CCW SP500 widebody wheels for a C5 fitment. Seller is asking $4,000. Fronts are 18x10 and rears are listed at 19x12, although CCW never offered a SP500 in that width so they are either a 19x11.5 or a 19x13. Seller didn't list the offsets. I have no affiliation with the seller.
Seller's description: CCW Sp500’s that were made for my wide body C5 Corvette. 18x10 Front Wheels 19x12 Rear Wheels 2001-2005 Corvette Wheel Sensors Powdercoated Gloss Black with a red vinyl pin stripe in the inside of the lip of each wheel.

Before CCW discontinued the SP500's, a set of 18x9.5 & 19x11's could be bought, for $5600.
Here's a set of Fikse 17x9 & 18x10 Aro's for a decent deal.

a new one in smallest sizes starts at around $1,600 a wheel.
My dad has a C5. I might put these on his car so I can show how they'll look on a C5.

In addition to being attractive, the factory Z06 wheels will be hard to match, performance wise. Both lighter and stronger than most aftermarket wheels -- you will have a difficult time finding a superior wheel, performance and value wise. Just please don't paint them black.

Welcome and congrats on the new z, like you I have a black on black 2003 that I bought 6 months ago. One of my non negotiable criteria for me was that it must have the original wheels those wheels are specific Z06 and fit the car perfectly my other must have item was the titanium exhaust and the original thinner windshield. I’ve disregarded all cars who’d was missing one of these 3 items. Cheers
