Just based on the pic the covers look good. Quality is an unknown.

For that price one can find a good pair of used C7 seats

Things change, of course, but when Top Flight took over Corvette America they supposedly also got the CA upholstery work, including the U.S.A. made seat foam and the U.S.A. manufactured seat skins, noted by my upholstery shop to be as good as it gets (he was far less impressed with the skins I brought).

I had them installed by a local auto upholsterer. I tried installing my first set of Vette Essential seat skins back in 2012. Although I installed them, I wasn't happy with the results as they looked loose so I brought them in to be re-installed by the same local auto upholsterer. It's a pretty cool process as the shop has a table that looks like a medieval torture device where they connect wires that pulls the seat leather tight around the frame. He then uses a steamer to smooth out the wrinkles before securing the tabs to the seat frames. Proof again the the right tools make the job easier with better results.

Those look real nice but $1200? Ouch. I paid about $400 for my real leather seat skins. Though they have gone up in price since then.

I haven’t been able to find a set that cheap with the lettering and C5 emblem. Guess GM cracked down on companies that sewed the emblems and wants royalties.

I recently upgraded my C5 seats by adding their 100% leather skins and their upgraded foam. I also rebuilt the stock seat frames with automotive burlap to cover the seat wires and other sharp edges which prevents the seat foam from breaking down. Not as good as C7 seats but a lot better and more supportive than stock plus it keeps the original look which works for me. Their 100% leather seat skins are very good.
I plan on doing exactly as you did. While the seats are apart, I will go through tem and reinforce as required.
I had my finger on the ebay buy button for some C7 seats over the weekend but I just can't have a car with a function that won't work...it would drive me nuts.
I am also looking at C7 convertconvertibles so if I buy one,, I will have C7 seats!
Your seats look awesome

I just sent a special request order to their rep. They will cost a bit more but I think it will be worth it.

A gentleman in CT picked up my Tick shifter a few weeks ago and I installed it for him in a very clean MY 03 Z06. His seats had been picked up some years ago and the center inserts were done over in alcantara. It looked good but also felt good as well. A nice touch towards traction to keep you in the otherwise non-supporting factory seats.
Though for the effort and expense I would go to a C7, C8 and Corbeau A4 seat to gain better support and comfort overall.
