Default Installed LMC5 today.

Just finished installing the LMC5 and will road test tomorrow. Started it up several times and the service steering column message is gone. Hopefully no fuel issues when I test drive. Planning on doing oil and filter change tomorrow if it doesn't storm.

Do you have to allow the gages to set in the ignition position before engaging the starter as others have had to do?

It's the most uneventful mod you can do...but at the same time that's the whole point.

I waited until the 2MPH cutoff absolutely kicked my butt. If it ever happens to you, you too will be on the floor digging through the harness and wondering how anyone thinks getting the pins out of the connector is 'easy'.

Soon after I bought my Vette, I installed the LMC5 at the urging of forum members. It's a good feeling knowing that a potential problem has been removed.

I decided to play it safe and wait for the dash to do it's scan and then start the car. It only takes a few extra seconds to do it this way, seems like a good precaution.
