It's an FM modulator. Basically the worst audio quality imaginable, and completely dependent on where you're located which open stations are available. They work in a pinch.
I went double din back in 2012 and updated the head unit to an Alpine with Apple Car Play in 2018. Just refreshed my DD bezel as part of my interior upgrade last winter. The Alpine unit I have loads CDs and other media from behind the screen and has a tilt screen feature so that's why it's slightly angled up in case you're wondering why it's not flush.
Where did you get all the interior upgrades? Looks really good.
finished installing Joyings latest android 12 unit 8” model. Love that it has *****. Fits nicely in the bezel without blocking the vent or hvac. Looking into getting an anti glare screen protector.
While I don't love that it sticks outside of the dash, I do like that it has ***** and if it is to stick outside the dash it's not too gaudy. How was the install?
Is it "flimsy" at all while pushing the buttons in the upper corners?
