After the left tank is full the turbulence of adding more fuel keeps mixing with what's in left tank already and spills over to the right tank via the cross over tube

IMO, if you use one of the Top Tier rated fuels, addition of Techron is unnecessary. The Top Tier rated gasolines already have additional fuel additives provided by Techron. Many manufacturers "recommend'" the usage of Top Tier rated gasolines, the Genesis G80 I previously owned required the usage of Top Tier fuels in order to satisfy the manufacturer's warranty requirements.
Just my opinion, based upon a bit of review of the development history of the Top Tier certification.

I usually wait until my tank is close to empty, but a 1/4 tank will certainly do. Techron certainly works. I use a bottle or 2 per year.

I would think if one drove to 1/4 tank, which would be all gas in the left tank, then put in half a bottle of Techron, followed by 6 gallons of gas, the left tank would now be a combination of fresh fuel and Techron. Adding additional Techron at this point would transfer over to the right hand tank, followed by the next 8 or so gallons of fresh gas would result in both tanks being a good combination.

Just my opinion. If you are already experiencing fuel indication problems Techron will do nothing at all or just be a band aid. I wasted a few dollars trying this snake oil only to be disappointed.
The fix was fixing it properly.
