You'right ! it is so low, so wide, so large, in france it is really a supercar ! and it sounds like it !
I'm supposed to have some mods on it, i will try to contact LG Motorsport to know what really was made on the car in US.
It's supposed to have G5X3 camshaft, LG long headers, RPM gearbox, and some others mods on clutch, also a Vararam intake, and should make 455rwhp...

Welcome to the C5 family. The C5 support suppliers make it easy to make the C5 your avatar. BTW, "those things on the doors" are OME called BSM (Body Side Moldings) Some like them (me) to protect from other careless park'ers, others remove them as you did. Have fun with your C5. I am sure you get a lot of attention with the C5 in France.

Funny one of the reasons I like my Corvette so much is here in USA, not many people look twice at an old black Corvette. The Supra got waaay too much attention for me, although underneath it is just a 4 cylinder bmw.

i have to admitt, if i known, maybe i wouldn't have remove them, as one door was repaint without removing the BSM...
So when i removed it, the varnish was removed too !

But, this car, is defintively not made to go to the mall, so i don't need it !

I don't know about France but I spent a year stationed in Germany and there were tons of amazing roads through the country side there. I'm thinking rural France is probably the same? Should be a blast running your C5 on them!

Thanks guy !
i will try to enjoy !
But like you can imagine, all is not about just enjoying !
the car was from 3 years just standing outside, so after starting drive it, i meet some problems !
But, this forum is really a so much greatness of knowledge, that i first start to read, and read, about all that could be near to my issues with the car !
here is my list of issues and i will try to resolve it !
1 - with the cam mods, the car is barely undriveable under 2000tr/min, with a slighty opened throttle.
It seems it is just a tuning issue, as the tuning is just to made numbers with WOT and it need some tuning to be driveable !
i will buy HPtuners software and see what could be done.
2 - The first hundreds miles i drove it, i can't go faster than 90mph, the car was shaking like hell, when i drove faster, it seems even the hood will pop up !
i first tought it was a bent rim, but after changing the rims and the tires, it was the same !
i'm going to check all bearing and tie rod with a friend wednesday.
3 - After 2 times driving the car, the next morning, i was unable to shift the car in reverse !
All the gear were hard to put, and i figured out that it was a clutch issue.
when i try to put the 1st gear, the car try to move forward, like the clutch wasn't completely desangaged.
And when i try to realease the clutch, the car start to move just when releasing a bit the clutch.
It seems i have a hydraulic problem with the master or the slave.
4 - i have a new ticking noise comming from the motor.
i will try to know from where it comes, and identify the bad parts.
5 - Water is coming inside the car.
Have to make further investigations, but first the gutter on driver side is broken at 2 places so i have to replace it.

WRONG – they are not there to protect your Vette from door dings as some believe, they are too low, the person next to you would hit the door panel above them. They were designed in the wind tunnel to add additional down force. If I remember correctly they only produced like a total of 8lbs. of down force at like 150 mph or something like that ?

Congrats on the car, and welcome to the forum. It is clear that the car has been significantly modified, and I suspect it's been driven pretty hard. I certainly hope that a new tune helps with the cam issues. However, the more aggressive the cam, the less drivable on the street the car becomes. Don't be surprised if you can't fully fix this issue with just a tune. As far as water getting in, I would try putting some dielectric grease on the weather stripping. This can go a LONG way towards fixing the issue. You will also want to make sure the utters (3 on the driver side and one on passenger side) are not clogged. Finally, If you have done both of these things, and still have an issue, it is possible to make adjustments to the window position that can help. I think you have made some good improvements to the interior. If it were me, I would probably get some better headlights. However, I'm not sure what kind of laws you have to deal with when it comes to that sort of thing. Enjoy the car. I hope it brings you many miles of smiles.
