Congratulations to Bandit 00C5, your selection as 2022 C5 of the Year - Modified. His car now will compete against the winners in other generations for 2023 Corvetteforum Corvette of the Year after the first of the year.
I love the car. I personally voted for a different car because all competing are truly badass C5s, but this one represents us well. I'm digging the high mileage original engine too.

Thanks to those who voted for my car. There are some really nice cars to pick from and it’s feels pretty special to win. I’ve loved this car for a lot of years and a lot of miles and she still puts a big smile on my face. My best friend and I have done most of the work on it ourselves and this is her first major recognition.

Had to do a double take because the last time I saw it there wasn't any wide body rear quarters on it !! I will shoot a call to you !!....
IMO, a bad result. The winning car, although gorgeous, isn't performance modded nearly enough. If I were to vote on looks, it would be my choice as well.
