NEW C5....again
Just got another C5..'01, 19k miles...almost flawless, not quite...Z51 / FE3 and the G90 performance axle 3,15 with the auto tranny, these are must haves for me....grey interior, the cars a solid 9.7...just beautiful....:
doing this week..new harmonic balancer, no surprise, new oil change, Tranny drain refill and filter replacement, new battery put in today...now the horn dont work...but Everything else does...fine find.....!! Next week is new plug wires and new plugs and the air pump delete. Then all LEDS.
In this recent search its become apparent that the C5 is slowly disappearing...low mile ones , in excellent shape, reasonably priced are almost impossible to find...This was not the case 3-5 years ago...The prices are thru the roof as everything else is i guess...This one is a real survivor that's been extremely well kept thru the years...bone stock and a joy to drive. I am increasingly appreciative of them...I'll put the ZO6 titanium mufflers on and a cold air intake along with the SLP duckbill lip...and that'll be it.!!!

Great find. A new 21 year old C5.
Dark Navy Blue Metallic is the color. My wife had a 2000 Convertible MN6 in that color, sold it in 2004.
