Thanks for sharing your journey, was an entertaining read

Any ideas why it did that?
Agreed with @Old School , check codes to see why it's giving that warning.

You've highlighted the drive I've done... the same trip a couple times, east to west and vise versa... So fun reading your experience and recalling mine .. a highlight of life!...Love 50!

Congrats on the beautiful car!! Awesome road trip and pics. I once rode a motorcycle across Nevada on Highway 50, at night. Amazing variances in the ambient temps!!!

What you did is my dream, and the reason I bought my Vette in the first place! I'll live vicariously through you for now, thank you so much for taking us along for the ride!

You hit a number of areas I've been to as I live in CO and you're 100% correct, there are too damn many people here!

Very cool. I hope to find the same car, in the same color, and do the trip home myself. Looks like a great time.

Alan, congrats on the Z06 and thanks for sharing your road trip with us. The Z does drive noticeably different than its sister models ( I can personally attest in regard to the coupe). Same 3.42 rear end ratio, by the way. Just the trannie gearing is different. As to the warning message that you experienced, I would agree that it sounds like your EBCM is starting to fail; pulling the codes should confirm this. It is intermittent now but will most likely become progressively worse (bad solder joints and/or relays); the same scenario happened to mine. I sent it to ABSfixer and it hasn't thrown a code since he repaired it and I got it reinstalled. Good luck, best wishes, and if you're ever in the neighborhood...

Thanks Wayne. I'm loving this car!

I'll keep and eye on the abs and check codes. It hasn't come back up again but if it does I'll probably send it to ABSfixer just to be safe.
