Lakeside Auto in Richmond, VA. Although they do work on other cars, this shop specializes in Corvettes. The owner, Scott owns several Corvettes. He also has some serious racing experience. They have extensive experience working on Corvettes of all generations. They are friendly, and knowledgeable, and have very good pricing. They have no issues using parts that you bring in, and once they get to know you will even allow you to assist in the work if you wish. They are great for repairs, but are also skilled at performing any aftermarket modifications that you can come up with. Visiting their shop is almost like going to a local car show.

Made this a sticky. Hope other members will add their favorite repair facility in their location as a way to help other members with repair needs.
For the mid-Missouri area, I would recommend Rusty Drewing Chevrolet in Jefferson City or Putnam Chevrolet in California MO - both have done excellent repair work on my vehicles over the years.
Thanks Jack for making this a Sticky, I encourage others to add names and locations so when we drive our C5's out of our home area there is some comfort there is help if the need arises. The Sticky is #1. Thank you.
I like the idea, but it needs to be a list on first page so it is easily searchable with a column for city/state. We are going to end up with a thousand posts to look through, a lot of dups for major cities, and basically unusable.

Well that fizzled out pretty quick.
It ALSO would be helpful for those enthusiasts/Vette-buyers among us who don't have the mechanical skills to appraise a prospective purchase with significant wear but do have the funds and the appetite for another Corvette.
I've so far had [3 X c6] and [1 X c7] along with being fortunate enough to be able to purchase either new or super-low mileage/use-accrued. NOW I'm for the first time shopping for a c5 and that means usually higher mileage but always 18 years or more. I know techs who are worthy of increased attention are going to be backed up somewhat, along with baby-boomers fading as the years go by. With the elec age on the horizon, this sort of need is only going to increase...until internal combustion engines aren't going to be made anymore. And who knows what the future will bring regarding the value of "repair" humans AT ALL.

This shop specializes in high performance work on corvettes, muscle cars, and other high performance cars. Custom engine builds, all sorts of mechanical repair and upgrades.
They performed emergency repairs on my clutch master cylinder, and will install 4.10 gears in my 2004 coupe in a couple of weeks. Yay..
