Probably never going to an auction. Florida uses the seized vehicles for outreach/community services for a long time. Now, execute the worthless, scumbag drug dealers

That’s not a 50th anniversary.
You can see it’s magnetic red II and has a black top with oak interior.
Shale interior on a real 50th is much lighter. Also doesn’t have the 2003 silver nose emblem.
Aside from that, the guy got what he gambled for… Jail and seizure, not a surprise.

This guy totally got what he deserved. Fentanyl kills people. This guy more than deserves whatever he gets!

Let me enlighten you; it isn't always the criminal that loses the the car!! I once knew of a situation where a guy bought a nice 1960s C3. He had the car for over a year when the police finally caught up with the stolen car. They showed up at his front door, with a wrecker. The guy had no idea he'd bought a stolen car. The guy faced no criminal charges, but lost all the money he had in the car, and the car itself. I don't know if they ever caught up with the car thieves. But I do remember it wasn't stolen in the state it was impounded in. This was around 1973-1974. Of course, there were no computers then. Even with computers, there's some great counterfeiting equipment available today that wasn't available then. So even though this guy might be a crook, he also might not be.....

Absolutely no feelng of sorrow for the owner of that car. Get involved in illegal drug dealing, suffer the consequences, including, hopefully, a long jail sentence.

As an aside, I'd be hard pressed, to even consider buying the 'Vette at the auction. I'd be afraid that the car's reputation and/or previous ownership might make it a target either for "mistaken identity", and being seized again, by law enforcement, or by an associate of the drug dealer, who is "repossessing it" for the drug sellers...........

Why even bother with a trial, if the guy is found with the goods in his car?? OH-I forgot, job security for the judges, prosecuting attorneys, and defense attorneys. Hopefully, the drug dealer had the nicest 50th in the country, and is crying salt water tears the size of dog poop.......

Oh no, no. The hell with jail time on the taxpayer's dime. Hang 'em or shoot 'em. They should put out a notice for volunteers just like they do with jury service. I would consider it a civil service act for sure. Cheers!!!

No, the police didn't "steal" a car. They impounded a criminal's car that was used for dealing drugs and death to others. Any applauding goes to the local police who did a great job in getting this ******* off the street and into jail.
