Rear Spoiler/double sided adhesive tape- does it hold??
Just received a unpainted rear spoiler with dbl sided adhesive tape . Laying it on the back of the trunk panel there are small gaps between spoiler & panel. Should I weigh it down when laying it on panel?
Will the tape secure the spoiler from being blown off the car while driving down the highway?? Any info greatly appreciated.

Melting Slicks
My SLP spoiler has been on the car for the past 3 years with plenty of over 100mph blasts. No issues with it coming off at high speeds.

Advanced
My color matched ZR1 style spoiler has never even wiggled so yes, I would say it will stay put no problem

Had one on for 10 years . The body shop tried to take it off
to paint it, and the shop snapped it in half. Strong tape
Good luck

Have my spoiler on over 10 yrs with the double sided tape with no problems! I did add more tape b- 4 install. Suggest getting the spoiler warm (sunlight O.K.) to conform to body lines. I also used a black marker on the outside edges of the white tape. Good Luck!.

My Caravaggio rear spoiler has been rock solid for 10 years. Installed in 2012 using automotive double-sided tape. Sort of like the BSMs and many know how difficult those are to remove.

My ZR1 style from C7 Carbon I bolted on. It didn't need sucked down much but once bolted down, it fits perfect.

Use a good quality tape like 3M and prep the surface and the tape will hold for a long, long time.
