Default I caught a battery killer

My wife and I used the Vette last week and it ran as usual, solid. Three days later the battery was dead. Now this is a battery that’s barely 2 yrs old. Put the charger on it and a few hours later was able to start her up. Next day again, dead. Now to troubleshoot a current draw bug I need a battery with current, so back goes the charger.
Thinking of the obvious circuits that are hot all the time I checked the glove box light and could hear the switch transfer so that drops low on my probable list. Getting out of the passenger side I spot the battery killer! My placed the CD case between the seat and the door jam and had pushed the FWD/BACK switch to the rear. She usually has the seat back all the way. The seat controls are hot all the time so the motor was activated all that time. The motor and the Seat Control Module survived and all works well.
with limited space be careful of tucking things next to the seat controls switches.

Glad you were able to correctly troubleshoot the issue. I hope it didn't shorten your battery life by too much.

Those seat switches are easy to overlook. I did order a new red top Optima.

Glad it was something simple. Chasing electrical in these sometimes is a nightmare!
