New upgrades: Coilovers, HPI mount, etc.
Finally got around to installing some new parts...
Yokohama Advan Apex, 265/35R18 front and 325/30R19 rear. These replaced my Hankook V12 Evo2s. Went from a 305mm to a 325mm in the rear. Doesn't really poke much more, but has the meatier sidewall height I wanted. Initial driving says these are stickier, but may be noisier.
Hawk HP-S pads and new Powerstop rotors. Replaced the reeeeally dusty and reeeealy noisy Wilwood BP-20 pads. Rotors are the same as I took off, just new. I actually sprayed these zinc-coated rotors with satin clear high-temp paint to add extra protection.
Whiteline adjustable sway bar end links from Australia. These replaced the junk Proforged end links that actually broke at the welds--from just street driving.
HPI trans/diff mount. Couple of design aspects I would change, but a decent piece. Had to cut a side of the diff balance weight off on a band saw for brace clearance as seen in the pic. We also used some different mounting hardware than what came with the brace. Not really any added vibration from the mount until you hammer the gas. Then the mount kind of hums. Sounds like your exhaust is louder, but it is the mount. The only thing I notice when driving casually is added transmission noise. Sounds a little whiny like a sequential gear box. Just a little bit.
Silver's Neomax coilovers. These are the "super low" version. Glad I chose those, because the height we set the car at is actually at the lower end of where we could adjust the shocks. The non-low version would have been to tall for me. The coilovers are a pain to adjust the ride height, but it makes sense, because these don't change the preload when adjusting them---just the ride height, which is cool. I opted for the 12K/10K versions based on people's reviews. Glad I did, as the rears still seem a little bouncy. We are going to firm up the rebound settings next. Overall, the car rides better than with the OEM springs and shocks. No cross-talk in the rear, and the car just feels more agile. The only thing we did differently was use aftermarket bolts and lock washers when mounting the front units.

Looks great. What type of brake calipers are you running?

Always a great time spending quality time modding a car. Those coilovers look good too. So that brand you can adjust the spring load and the ride height separately? That's a cool option. Is the rebound and compression adjusted easily also?

Happy to report that after pulling my HPI mount and replacing it with a new rubber one (including dingleballs), the diff whine I have had since day one of HPI installation is GONE.
@FYRARMS if you find that your 5th/6th gear freeway cruising whine eventually becomes too much to bear (like I did), returning to a rubber mount will indeed make her quiet once again

Thanks. I really like those. Combined with your Powerstop rotors, did you have to adjust your wheel offset for them to fit? Reason I'm asking is that I'm running a set of CCW 505As with stock offset. When I upgraded to my Baer Eradispeed +2 rotors (front & back), I had to add 5MM spacers in the back to make them fit. I'm thinking about moving into a different brake package and really like the look of your set-up both calipers and rotors.
Regarding the Hawk HP-S pads, any issues with them staining the rotors? My shop originally installed some ceramic pads on my original set of Eardispeed rotors and they stained them pretty bad. When I upgraded to the +2 rotors, I moved back to OEM semi-metallic. No staining, but a lot of brake dust.

Your Z06 looks amazing. The Wheels, tires and brakes go perfectly. Always been one of my favorites C5's.
The stance is perfect. Too bad about the noise from the solid HPI mount, hope you get that sorted out.

Car looks stunning as usual FYRARMS.
I ended up taking my HPI mount off and selling it here on the forum. It was only on the car for a couple weeks.
Then installed the Sac City polyurethane mount in it's place and put the dingle ball weight back on side of the diff. Then I blew my motor up the next day and have not been able to do a true performance review lol.

If your car is relatively stock Bmore I doubt it. I honestly think I may have jumped the gun in selling the HPI mount. That being said I was desperate to try and cure the noise described below.
I think the annoyances I was getting weren't directly related to that mount but the mount may have accentuated some cabin noise I was getting. Almost like a warble noise in the hatch area at 2k rpms or so.
Keep in mind my car is heavily modified, vibrates more, and is pretty loud.
There are thousands of happy HPI mount users out there.
