^^^ No, that’s unacceptable! Is it just the one door panel?

no it's both...I thought I could get past it but I just can't. Now I'm worried how the dash will turn out.

RESPONSE:
"Factory didn’t have the vents so the worker didn’t know where to stop.

Anyway it’s easy to fix.

Go to hardware store to buy one bottle of cigarette lighter fuel called benzene. You just soak the leather around the vents for several minutes then you can remove the leather easily without damaging the leather.

At the same time you can also buy a small bottle of contact glue and apply it to the vents surrounding area and wait for about 5 minutes. You can see now the glue is sticky. Then you just stretch the leather that is enough to cover the vents edge so you won’t see the cut. Then put the vents back. Problem solved."

I didn't think so either but didn't want to be an A$$ about it. I'm the same guy who complained about the green tint on the steering wheel, lol.

I’m going to send you my phone number in a PM.
I had an issue with my dash and basically got the same initial response.

What has been seen cannot be unseen. You know this issue exists and it's gonna eat at you each and every time you sit in the car.

If you're at all handy, try to fix the defects yourself because if you send the door panels back, you'd best believe that they will charge you another $800 to ship them out to you again after they repair both of the manufacturing blemishes.

Just know up front, if you touch it and it doesn’t come out to your satisfaction, then it’s all on you, and you are stuck with it.

Ask me how I know.

Totally unacceptable given the amount of money you spent.

I have no idea as it was a core but it's only a couple of screws so they should've taken them out.

I have a hard time comprehending why
Apsis didn’t inspect their work before sending it
to you. **** poor quality control, especially
considering what they charge.

Nothing has been inspected...ive had numerous issues but Jersey works them and i usually try not to post too much negative.

not sure if you can see the multiple wrinkles in the dash

$4K dash has waves all in it

Pictures don't show how bad this truly looks

So i basically have my car put back together and my initial excitement has turned to complete disappointment and regret. Like many of you, I've spent close to $10K with APSIS yet the craftsmanship is garbage. Now i have to admit Jersey has always offered a solution, however, it has always come at a price with me paying the cost to ship it back or finding a local place to fix it. It's just been a complete nightmare to the point I just found a local place to wrap my pillars and possibly cover my C7 seats. You guys please tell me if I'm being an a$$hole.

I think your disappointment is certainly justified. For that kind of $$$, you should get better, you should get perfection..

I would expect perfection for the amount spent.
I could also live with that interior for substantially less.

Nate, I can't see the wrinkles in the dash in the pics. The thread alignment is way off on all of it though, and the key lock area on the center console base is just unacceptable altogether. I wouldn't accept that, and you should not be responsible for shipping for something back that is that jacked up.

In my experience lately, it seems like a lot of vendors are just getting down right sorry as hell. I had some issues with a couple of items from Apsis over the years, but was always able to come to a reasonable conclusion with Jersey. Still, it did cost me more time, money, and aggravation. One thing I learned, do not use their cores! It costs more to ship yours to them up front, but well worth it in the end.

I know you must be very disappointed. When you spend that kind of money, you expect the best, and you should!

Wow, I'd have to agree with everyone on this. For that kind of money, you should have perfection. You have also helped me save a loot of money. After seeing this and knowing what happened with Larry, I'm going to stick with what I have and just go with the paint process. I can have mine painted quite a few times with what his stuff costs. I was going to see about some things from Apsis for my interior, but I'd have to seriously think twice or more now. Thanks for posting this.
