So the square border comes on with DRLs? So they're on even if your lights are down? Does that mean you have to turn on headlights then one click down so headlights off but lids up for the daytime look with the square bits?

*edit The way I wired them, they come on with the parking lights, not the DRL...however they do operate just like you describe.

The halos do not turn on until the lights are turned on and the light rises. You can then turn the lights switch back to DRL only and the halos will remain lit until you turn the lights off and the lights lower.

That's why I that *I* wired them in with the parking lights. The small corner bulb to be precise.
