VetteLights Laser LED Taillights and 3rd Brake Light Installed
As soon as I saw the 3rd brake light was available, I purchased the taillights and 3rd brake light and installed everything last night. Taillights are easy-3rd brake light in a pain in the butt-but that's no matter what 3rd brake light you are installing.
My previous lights were regular LED taillights, but they were tinted by corvette enhancements. I loved the way they looked when off, but on a sunny day-I don't think you could even see when the turn signal was on.
Now onto the photos-some of these were taken in my garage right after installation, a couple this evening with my brother hitting the brake, and at my parents house when I went there this evening. I already had the side markers and these match perfectly....
Looks great! I sure wish these had been available when I had my rear fascia removed from the car. I will eventually get around to getting one to match my laser side markers though.

It's not a huge hassle to install through a taillight opening. I just installed a red laser LED 3rd brake light last week.
Question on functionality - when headlights/parking lights are off and you hit the brakes, what part lights up? Everything? Or the just the LEDs without the laser/halo part? If it's the latter, could you post a pic of that?
Hamburglers! I really dig those lights but I have a hard time justifying the price they charge for them.
Also LSMAN, do you put on a brand new exhaust system every time you take a picture of your car?
HAHAHA-I polished the exhaust tips this past Saturday with the Mother's kit that you attach to a drill. LOL -Thanks for noticing.

I believe it's the LEDs inside without the laster/halo portion as you describe. I'll try to get a photo next time I have someone to hit the brake while I stand behind the car.

The ones I ordered, have a halo on when the brake is not applied, once the brake is applied the entire light lights up. My version also doesnt have the horizontal line lit up in the middle. There are two different versions from Vettelights.

Vettelights. They are also a vendor on here I believe.
Loving the 3rd brake light. Ordering mine soon, I guess I had better before they run out again. I ordered the laser taillights and fronts a couple of months back. Very happy with Vettelights. So far so good. I too was worried about the safety of the old blackouts- I feel much better with the visibility of these, just no comparison!
