2004 CE needs Parking/Turn Signal Light Lens rplc w\LEDs
hey guys... so I am finally throwing in the towel on replacing those amber bulbs every other month after 16 years (I'm stubborn that way )
I was going to patch the holes that have burned through the plastic housing but figure I should replace the entire lens housing while I'm at it. Looks like the lens housings can be had for under $200 for the OE looking pair but might go with a newer design, not 100% sure on that yet as I like the look of the OEM lens housing and moreover, I like the look of the OEM lighting with the amber DRLs.
Seems the way most are going are with the switchback setup where the LEDs alternate white\amber and smoked lens or similar but stubborn me would like to stay with the OEM amber\amber colors. Hopefully that makes sense...
that said, has anyone done this to their C5 (OEM color\look) that can point me to a good lens housing and LED setup?

ones on top are more OEM'ish from WestCoast $170 pr
the ones with the black are from Ecklers $151 pr
the ones on the bottom are a 'Diamond cut', fancier version of OEM I guess... Ecklers $164 pr (leaning towards these)

Just note that your choice in LED bulb will determine whether the bulb will blink amber/white/amber/white or amber/off/amber/off during turn signal usage. The latter is better imho.
I've also been looking into changing mine and those prices you show seem very high. Other members have used Ebay and other sources such as Devo and found lenses around
$50-75.00 just like the ones you show in your thread. BTW there is another active thread on these right now so take a look.
Switchback LEDs will give you white Park lights and amber DRLs and Turn Signals. DOT requires a side view amber reflector on front and an amber or red on the rear.
really appreciate the feedback guys and my apologies for creating yet another thread on the subject
not wanting to drop more than $100'ish for the project and based on pics online I've narrowed down the turn signal lenses I like as opposed to the 100+ different options out there, LEDs and hyperflash harness. Pretty sure I can do this myself after watching a few YouTube vids... thank goodness for YouTube!
so if I were to pick up these items would I need anything else, am I overlooking anything?
something just popped into my head... resistors! I don't think I have resistors, hopefully I can get some quick feedback to confirm that and then a suggestion on how to add it if I do, I guess I was thinking the resistors were in the hyperflash harness but maybe not
