Exhaust Enhancer plate
Love em or leave em? Personally, I’m on the fence about them. Unnecessary? Maybe. Gaudy? Probably. Waste of money? Well, what isn’t?!? My car currently doesn’t have one anymore and i have been kicking around the idea of getting a new one. I just dont know how well its gonna look with a BBE aftermarket exhaust. You might not even be able to see half of it. Anyone care to share their EEP pics?

Melting Slicks
Before I owned a C5 I thought the plate was installed factory GM!

Mine was on my car when I bought it. I've always liked it though.

Mine's covered by the trailer hitch.
Can't see it. Wouldn't have ordered it, personally, but different strokes for different folks.

I've been thinking about one also, the black looks kind of unfinished. Mine is a 50th so I am looking at the burgandy one with the 50th badge to get some color there. I'm not really into the add on chrome accessories but I do like this exhaust plate.

I had rhe typical vette emblem on polished backing but after 20+ years I got sick of all shiny bling so ALL chrome and polished anything was removed...I went with this one....

For the most part they are visible and noticeable ..... I like the look ... mine was on the car when purchased last year and I kept it because of the look ... there are plenty on the market, and some quite large filling that whole exhaust area ....

I have one and honestly it must not bother me too much as I've not stripped it off of there. I don't even remember what it looks like lol.
I think most of the ones I've seen are so far out of sight that I've never seen one that made me shrivel my nose.

I liked the one I had on my last C5 - it thought it made the area between the exhaust tips complete.

Someone even took the time to put some LEDs on it that come on with the running lights

What can I say other than we both have great tastes in cars .... thought about that 50th plate sequence also but didn't want to tie it only to a C5 just in case I update at some time .... they say your first Vette is never your only Vette ..... Haha

The very first thing I did when I bought my car was to remove the exhaust plate. I then removed the logo, retaped it, and installed it on the entrance door to my garage. I recycled the metal part of the plate into the scrap pile. If you get the notion that I don't like exhaust plates you'd be right.
